Meet Zenith Bank MD and Deputy Managing Director, Peter Amangbo and Adaora Umeoji

Peter Amangbo

Peter Amangbo holds a B.Eng. Degree (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) from University of Benin and an MBA from the University of Warwick, Coventry in the United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA).
Before his appointment, Mr. Amangbo has been an Executive Director of the bank since 2005 and has over twenty four (24) years cognate banking experience all of which has been with Zenith Bank. He worked previously with PriceWaterHouse (now PriceWaterHouseCoopers) as a Senior Consultant in the Financial Services Group.
He has attended the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, France and Wharton Graduate School of Business, USA.

Adaora Umeoji

Adaora Umeoji, prior to her appointment as Deputy Managing Director was the Executive Director in charge of Public Sector, Abuja, North, Middle Belt and South-East Zones.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, B.Sc (Hons) from the University of Jos, Plateau State and MBA in Business Administration from the University of Calabar.
She has over twenty (20) years cognate banking industry and a very broad Executive management experience. She has held several management positions in the Bank and has contributed significantly to the current profitability of the Bank. She currently heads the most profitable arm of the Bank and has competently acquitted herself in all areas of the bank she has worked.
Ms. Umeoji has attended several offshore management programs including the Havard Business School (Executive Education Certificate (OPM) Key Executive Programme, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA (Certificate in Strategic Thinking & Management for Competitive Advantage) as well as the Wharton Business School.
She is a member of several professional bodies including Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Nigeria (ICPAN) and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
